Excellence with Purpose
At KIPP OKC Public Schools, we believe that all students can achieve at the highest levels when challenged, supported, and inspired. Our classrooms are filled with rigorous, joyful learning that pushes scholars to become deep, conceptual thinkers—not just memorizers of facts.
We focus intentionally on literacy, because we know that reading is the foundation for every subject and every future opportunity. Our students engage with relevant, thought-provoking novels that help them see themselves in the text and expand their understanding of the world. In math, we use the Eureka Math curriculum to build strong numeracy skills and conceptual understanding. In science, scholars explore everything from the stars above to hands-on experiments right in our neighborhood, developing curiosity and critical thinking through our robust STEM program.
Developing Character and Leadership
Academic success is only part of our mission. We also teach and celebrate character—the habits, values, and mindsets that help students thrive in school and life. Through systems like Dojo, Dean’s List, and our school store, students earn incentives for demonstrating teamwork, perseverance, empathy, and integrity. Our frequent field trips and community experiences give scholars opportunities to apply these values beyond the classroom.

We believe in doing this work with our community—not apart from it. Our schools are powered by a shared spirit of partnership among staff, families, scholars, donors, and community members. Together, we’re building not just strong students, but a strong Oklahoma City.
Enrichment Beyond the Classroom
Learning at KIPP OKC doesn’t end with the final bell. We offer a vibrant range of after-school programs, including band, dance, step, wrestling, basketball, and soccer, giving scholars opportunities to explore their passions, build confidence, and work as part of a team.
